Team Phame takes pride in providing quality basketball while keeping our cost reasonable and affordable. We offer a variety of program options to help meet the needs of the players we serve. Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding our pricing structure.
Team Phame strongly believe every player should be given the chance to play competitive games. Membership is open to all players regardless of skill or experience as long as we have a roster spot available. The coaching staff will evaluate all players and form teams based on similar abilities to make sure everyone gets a shot at showing their progress on the court. We currently serve youth players grades 5-12. Each team will get a minimum of two dedicated practices per week and one skill session (subject to change based on availability).
Term: 3 Month Commitment
Monthly Fee: $150
Registration Fee: $100/Due Every Sept 1st
Uniform Bundle: $670
Players will compete on tournament teams in various local, regional and national events. Players must earn their place and work hard to retain their position on the roster each season. All tournament level players may also participate in league play. Club uniform purchase is required.
Tournament Fee: $120 - 3 tournaments monthly ($40 each tourney)
This option is very popular for those athletes that looking to kick start their basketball skills or for those looking to keep sharp while they break from competitive play and are between seasons. Our practice players get two practices per week and are eligible for infrequent tournament play.
Term: Three Months
Monthly Fee: $100 + $100 registration fee
This option is designed to see if your child is a good fit for our program and coaching development style. Team Phame is not for every player. We can place your kid on a trial run. Month one - your child would just train and learn the system. This ensures your child from getting into a game looking lost. Month two - we will start implementing your child into the team's rotation and assign him/her to a role. By then both sides will determine if the program is a good fit.
Term: Month to Month
Cost: $150/month
If it ever came a time in which a member of our program wanted to go elsewhere, we would want to have a conversation and notice. To opt out of our program or suspend participation, a two week notice is required for full club members. This helps us plan teams and practice schedules. It will never be any hard feelings, or anything said or done to impede the progress of the child. Whether you train or play for us, we consider you family. We will never hold players hostage for wanting to leave our program. Just know we will always do what is best for the athlete because at the core of everything, it’s about them.
Each basketball season is 3 months long. Dues can be split into monthly payments or paid in full all up front.
Tryout info will be posted to our website. Tryouts will consist of two sessions. Tryouts will be held as needed to qualify athletes for tournament level basketball. All decisions are at the discretion of the coaching staff & program directors. For more information on how to tryout for Team Phame, please contact us.
Parents and players are to abide by this rule, which means I will not speak to my child's coach or any staff member about playing time or any game strategy within 24 hours after a game ends.
All members of the coaching staff are role models and ambassadors for the program, and are held to high expectations that reflect the values of our organization. We expect our coaches to exhibit professional behavior at all times, both on and off the court. It is imperative that our coaches are respectful to all around them including parents, opposing teams, and referees.
Players must always do their very best to positively represent the program and its values. Players will always demonstrate good sportsmanship. Our players must be respectful to all players, coaches, referees, and parents.
We expect the highest standards of courtesy, sportsmanship and positive behavior among our parents. Parents will exercise good judgment and conduct themselves in an exemplary fashion on all team related occasions. Improper behavior will not be tolerated. Parental behavior both on and off the field that is detrimental to the team or club, may result in removal of BOTH the player and parent from it's membership with the club.
Parental support and involvement in a player’s development through club ball are essential. Parents must be equally committed to their child’s participation in the club and ensure that players attend all trainings, games, and other team events.
We understand there will be times when scheduling conflicts are unavoidable and other commitments will prevail. The Club requires your communication, planning and understanding so that we can minimize conflicts. When a parent or player has an unavoidable conflict, the club expects timely communication to see if we can make any necessary adjustments. The team coach will make final decisions about scheduling after careful consideration of your needs.
The club has a zero-tolerance policy regarding aggressive sideline behavior from the coaches. Positive reinforcement should be provided to our players from the coaches and sideline spectators. Coaches will be removed from the program for consistent violations of this philosophy. There should be no negative interactions between coaches and opposing coaches/players, or coaches and visiting team parents.
The club has a strict policy against parents coaching from the sideline. There will be absolutely no coaching by parents at games or practices. Players are given specific instructions by their coaches who have particular knowledge of every player’s ability and the team’s overall objectives or strategies for the game. Instructions by parents, while well-intentioned, often confuse players, particularly when such instructions conflict with the coach’s instructions. This is counter-productive to a player’s development and to the success of the team as a whole.
The Club believes in teaching players the benefits of mental toughness. Players will develop the ability to manage their emotions and maintain their focus through a variety of conditions outside of their control. Coaches will teach players to overcome adverse conditions; such as poor refereeing, name calling, foul language, dirty play, cheating, negative behavior by parents or opponents, etc. We expect our players (as well as our coaches and parents) to have the same mental toughness.
After a player commits to one of our competitive teams and completes the registration, that player is considered registered to our club. Players will ONLY be allowed to participate with a National Club Team. We don't condone in players playing on multiple local club teams. If there's a weekend Team Phame is not competing in any league or tournament games, and a player wants to get some extra reps in with another team, that player must speak directly to his coach or the director first.
After a player commits and completes registration with our team, the player is considered registered to our club. Each player is bound to the club for that season (3 months). For players who are registered for a season, our club will not consider a request for a release from the program during the season until that player has paid his/her entire financial obligations to the Club. Players receiving financial assistance will not be released during the season, unless they pay the full expenses associated with the season.
Team Phame does not discriminate against its members, players, coaches, parents, referees on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, political beliefs, marital status, or parental status, or sexual orientation.
Team Phame follows a strict no-refund policy. If your child cannot be placed on a team, the full registration fee will be returned; otherwise, all registrations are non-refundable. The club may, however, in its sole discretion, consider refund requests under the following: (1) a player moves to another state or region at the start of the season, (2) a player becomes injured or ill and can no longer participate in league games or tournaments, or (3) any other circumstances the club deems necessary or appropriate. Please note that in order for refund requests to be considered due to injury, such requests must be made within two weeks of the player’s injury/illness and must include a physician’s note for verification.
Show respectful behaviors at all times. Profanity, obscene gestures, derogatory comments, and negativity directed at team members, coaches, managers, administrators, PHAME staff members, parents, opponents, or anyone else will not be tolerated.
Respect the property of others, including personal items, community property, game facilities, schools facilities, opponents property, and anything that does not belong to you. This includes team issued uniforms and equipment.
Respect the decisions of authority figures, including coaches, administrators, staff members, opponents, officials, parents, and others. Never directly challenge or discuss a decision made by a coach, official, or opposing coach.
Our coaches determine the placement of athletes. These decisions are made in the best interest of the athlete and the team. Our goal is to identify and place each athlete in a level of competition where they can perform at a high level and contribute to team success. Honor these decisions and discuss any questions or concerns you may have with a member of the coaching staff.
Your core responsibilities are family and academics. Do not let club basketball interfere with these two areas. If your participation with Team Phame has a negative effect on your family expectations or classroom responsibilities, please reconsider your participation and return when conditions are more favorable.
Attendance in the classroom is expected “all day-every day.” It is extremely important to us that our student athletes are attending school regularly. Our athletes are held responsible for maintaining passing grades in order to compete in club basketball.
Any behavior considered detrimental to the team will be discussed directly with the athlete, parent, and head coach. At this time a decision will be made as to what actions will be taken to correct the behavior.
Horseplay and goofing off during practices, or other activities will not be tolerated. Coaches need players undivided attention. This eliminate coaches from having to repeat themselves. Serious injury can occur even from seemingly innocent actions.
Rules & regulations concerning players safety will be enforced at all team practices, games, and events. This includes activities on or off school property such as training, hill workouts, and general practices that take place in the community.
All practice activities must take place under the direct supervision of a designated coach. Modifying or changing a directed workout is not allowed.
Event equipment or training aids must be used in the manner it was designed. Do not modify or physically alter any implement without consent from a coach.
Report all safety issues to a coach immediately including personal injuries, equipment issues, and environmental conditions.
